The eighth grade winner of the 1986 yearbook cover con­
test. Rita-Anne wrote the following, describing her design.

THE 1986 COVER

My cover design emphasizes the large portion of our lives
at Buckley, whether it be ten years, one year, or any
number in between. The footprints on the right represent
how we grow during our years at Buckley. The footprints
on the left represent our lives after Buckley. You will
notice that the greatest growth takes place within Buckley
where we grow, not only physically, but as people. At
Buckley we get a start on making each and every one of
our years count in the world.
