.V f .M AN ANIMAL
If I could be an animal I would be a
rabbit, soft, cuddly and cute. After I ate
some carrots, I’d sleep. I would live far
far in the woods. I would really enjoy
being an animal, but I’m better off be
ing a human being!

Max Goodman OH, DEAR
Grade 2-S
My name is Tom Turkey. I’m very worried, not because of me,
but because of my father, Tim Turkey. He is just the right size
for the farmer’s dinner on Thanksgiving. I told him to run away
with me. He said that was a good idea. So the next morning we
got away safely and went back into the forest. Also, I played
with the other little turkeys. My father tried to go on a diet, so
when we go back to the farm next year, my father won’t get
eaten.

HURRICANE GLORIA
On Friday, September 27, Hurricane
Gloria struck. We had lights for five
minutes, then the lights went out. We
told ghost stories. They were scary. We
liked them. The hurricane did not do
any damage, just a few shingles gone. It
was fun. We played games.
