Dear Graduates,
Over the years you have won the admiration and affection of all your teachers. You have been a
Headmasters dream class. You have consistently shown positive leadership, hard work, friendship,
and an infectious community spirit. How we will miss your famed lunch announcements and
countdowns to some big event!
Reflecting on the bittersweet moment of graduation, a Buckley alum wrote, It was not the sadness of
leaving that overpowered me at Commencement, but the great joy that I had been there, a part of it all.
I share his feeling and feel blessed to have been a part of the early years of your life journey.
On the occasion of our schools 85th anniversary, let me offer my congratulations to you, the Class of
2008! Buckley will always be your school and a place you can call home. I hope you will visit often.
