It was so many years ago,
When we first saw Buckley Day.

Our jaws dropped so low!
The resources blew us away.

But, while all that is great,
That is not why we stay.
In fact, this page we dedicate,
To those we want to repay.
Dear teachers and dear staff,
Dear administrators, too.
Your dedication is steadfast,
Such professionals through and through.
In not just what you teach but how,
You help them to grow and to learn.
You weave the threads now,
Of the adult who will one day return ...
... To say what we don't say enough,
... To say what we know is overdue.
But, let us begin with a draft rough ...
